Danielle finally takes the vacation everyone tells her she needs.  Azure Lake in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas appears to be the idyllic getaway she's been looking for.  

Her vacation takes a sinister tone when she finds a body floating in the water near her cabin.  The local sheriff finds out she's a detective from the "big city" and talks her into helping with the investigation.  

There are people who don't welcome Danielle's appearance in their local business.   When trying to scare Danielle doesn't work, they try other desperate measures to get Danielle away from the case.
